The director of this movie is a noted ad-maker named Jayendra and he has been a successful ad-director and his first stint as a director is a big movie like 180 with a very popular actor Siddharth in the movie. Well what happens in the movie and is it worth your money read in the review. But unlike all other reviews the plot of this movie is not explained properly by me, and wait its only because the director recently in a press conference told all the reviewers to not tell the main plot of the movie, so that is the reason the main plot is not explained in this review. Well don’t worry the main plot anyways is not that important in the movie and that is the reason the main plot is given a rush-up job, read on to know what I mean by a rush-up of the main plot.

How often we see a good opportunity wasted ridiculously, well that has happened very often with Telegu movies in the recent past, some writers write good stories, but directors flaw and the movie looks bad. And this is what has happened with 180. A good story wasted with the way iit is told.
Well let’s just tell you about the story first, the story is about a boy called Manu played by Siddharth and Manu is first seen in North India dipping in Holy Ganga and then he is off to Hyderabad looking for a job. Manu is a nice chap, he helps people, he loves to dance with small kids. And from all this we come to know that he is a mysterious boy but with a good heart and so the heroine who is shown as a photo journalist played by Nitya Menon falls for our mysterious yet helpful hero and then the story of 180 is about Manu’s past, we see many twists and turns in the movie which makes it interesting. But all these twists and turns happen a bit too late in the movie.
What I mean to say, the first half is very snail like slow and the end of the second half just runs out of breath, it’s that fast.

Siddharth is a good actor and we don’t doubt that fact and he once again delivers what one expects from him, he comes across with very real acting and nice expressions. Full marks to Siddharth and the leading actresses both have performed average, there was much to do from both the actresses but both don’t act that goo, well they haven’t acted that bad too. So all in all average acting by the leading ladies.
Other actors in the movie have given decent performances.

Jayendra is a very well know ad maker and 180 is his first feature film, and his inexperience shows in the movie. The ad-maker focuses much on framing and other technicalities, and forgets about storytelling, the storytelling of 180 is very weak.
The screenplay makes you giddy, sometimes it is too slow, it makes you wait to unfold and when it starts unfolding, it’s a blink-and-you-miss kind of unfolding.
So the bottom-line for the movie is that the screenplay is bad and so is the direction of the movie.
