Story
Based on the critically acclaimed Tamil novel Kaval Kottam.The novel which was written by Su.Venkatesan recently won the Sahatiya Academy Award.The novel has recently been critically analysed by many book critics who found the book a very fascinating and realistic one.The book is centered around the history of Madurai from year 1300 to 1900 AD.There are two rulers who fight for the control of Madurai city and a thug/robber gets trapped in this battle.He becomes a essential piece of history due to this.

The film Aravan is made by G.Vasanthabalan.The director is well-known in industry for his critically acclaimed films like Veyil and Angadi Theru.Both films were moderately successful.Looking by the trailer actor Aadhi(the actor in the above picture) is most likely to play the role of the robber.Actors Pasupathy and Anjali are expected to deliver good performances.
