The fourth sequel of the famous and popular among kids ‘Spy Kids’ has been finally released, and that too in 4D Aroma-Scope to entertainment their target audience in their utmost way. But sadly as we all know, content is the king, and so because of the poor presentation of the story, screenplay and narration, the movie doesn’t reaches up to its standard.
Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba) is such a devoted undercover agent so as to even when she is in 9 months of pregnancy, she handles to take down disreputable baddie Tick Tock (Jeremy Piven) sooner than departing into work and retiring from her secret agent responsibilities. She aspires to dedicate all her life to her newborn and her step-kids, Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook) and hubby Wilbur (Joey McHale). While on the other side she is also trying her best win herself over her step-kids, as they hates her and have no respect for her.
Soon after the newborn baby is born and Marissa was about to retire, Tick Tock and his partner in crime, The Timekeeper (Piven), are back at their challenge to steal from the globe of ‘time’. As a result Rebecca, Cecil and their protector dog’ Argonaut (voice of Ricky Gervais) have to save the humankind. In addition, they also teamed up in the company of Marissa’s niece and nephew, Carmen and Juni Cortez (Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara, who are enacting their ex-Spy Kids characters) to make this operation a family reunion of kind.
Plot is simple and is also attractive for all the kids out there, especially the franchise lovers. But the makers had failed to present a proper screenplay and the narration out here.
